Volleyball Recap: Northwest Halifax's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against North Edgecombe two weeks ago, Northwest Halifax came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Northwest Halifax ultimately came up short, they really made Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northwest Halifax fell to 2-1. As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwest Halifax will challenge rival Warren County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Northampton County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
