Patriot had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Westfield Bulldogs. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Patriot's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Westfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patriot will challenge Battlefield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westfield, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brockport at 8:30 a.m. on the 14th.
