Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Autaugaville). They came out on top against the Victory Christian Lions by a score of 54-45 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Despite the defeat, Victory Christian had strong showings from Amelia Haney, who posted 20 points in addition to five assists and five boards, and Addie Lee, who had 13 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Haney is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season.

Autaugaville has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Victory Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Autaugaville and Billingsley will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Victory Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oak Grove at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
