If Oak Ridge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Willis, they should've done a better job of containing  Lincoln Frazier. The Wildkats really took it to the War Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up  a  58-7 victory for which the team can thank  Frazier, who threw for 309 yards and five  touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 58 yards. His passing game has become a key predictor of Willis' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
Another player making a difference was  Jaivion Martin, who picked up 108 receiving yards and one  score. His longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.
 Willis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  A'Majai Friend and  Jermaine Bishop Jr. Bishop Jr's receiving production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 119  receiving yards. Friend got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
The  win was  the third in a row for Willis, bringing their record up to 7-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.0 points on average over those games. As for Oak Ridge, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Willis will  take on  rival Grand Oaks  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 912 yards in their previous games. Meanwhile, Oak Ridge is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Caney Creek  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
