Baseball Recap: Bardstown Comes Up Short

Bardstown came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees, falling 9-3. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles/Banshees earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Bardstown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Metcalfe, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Bardstown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17-1. As for Bethlehem, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-16.

As of now, neither Bardstown nor the Eagles/Banshees have any future games scheduled.
