On Friday, Jayden Gutierrez earned his first-ever forced fumble. He forced two fumbles and made five total tackles (3.5 for loss) as Independence fell to Kennedy 21-6. We marked that as the best effort he's had all season, even better than his performance on August 28th (when he made five total tackles (3.0 for loss)) (Gamescore: 22.5 vs. 13.5).

Looking ahead, Gutierrez and Independence will welcome Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Gutierrez's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Falcons' three-game streak of wins on the road.
