Basketball Recap: Shawano Community's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Shawano Community won the last time they faced Antigo and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Shawano Community Hawks came out on top against the Antigo Red Robins by a score of 54-42.

Shawano Community's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11. As for Antigo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawano Community will head out to square off against West De Pere at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West De Pere knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Shawano Community likes a good challenge. As for Antigo, they are taking a road trip to take on Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
