Hope Christian hasn't had much luck against Bernalillo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 3:00 p.m. Hope Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.

Hope Christian had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but St. Michael's put an end to it on Wednesday. The Huskies lost 16-1 to the Horsemen.

Hope Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella McFadden, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Bernalillo hadn't beaten Valley on the road since April 18, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Spartans blew past the Vikings 14-5. Considering the Spartans have won seven games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hope Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Bernalillo, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Hope Christian beat Bernalillo 9-4 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
