Baseball Recap: Attica Gets the Win

Attica won the last time they faced Faith Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Ramblers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 8-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Ramblers.

The team relied heavily on Luke Blankenship, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dane Goris, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Attica always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Faith Christian only posted an OBP of .226.

Attica's record is now 2-0-1. As for Faith Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Attica will take on West Central at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Faith Christian, they will square off against North White at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
