Basketball Recap: Cara Roberg's Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Patrick's over Hershey

St. Patrick played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Hershey Panthers, falling 55-32. The Irish have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

St. Patrick's lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cara Roberg, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Olivia Phelps, who posted eight points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hershey to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aubry Hall, who went 8 for 12 en route to 18 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Hall a new career-high in steals. Kenna Bringewatt was another key player, putting up eight points along with five boards and five steals.

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hershey, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

St. Patrick's has already played their next matchup (against Kimball), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hershey will take on Chase County in a tournament on Friday. Hershey is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.2 points per game this season.
