Volleyball Recap: Pantego Christian Starts Season with Win Against Founders Classical Academy

Pantego Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Founders Classical Academy Eagles 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Pantego Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Founders Classical Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Looking ahead, Pantego Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Benbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Founders Classical Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' matchup: after the Panthers face off against Kingdom Collegiate Academy, they'll take on Founders Classical Academy again at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
