Cedar Vale/Dexter hadn't done well against Sedan recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Spartans came out on top against the Devils by a score of 2-0. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Devils, too.

Cedar Vale/Dexter easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19.

Zoe Davidson paced Cedar Vale/Dexter's offense, picking up ten kills. Davidson got some help from Reagan Every and her 12 assists. Davidson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Cedar Vale/Dexter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Sedan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Coincidentally, Cedar Vale/Dexter and Sedan will both be playing Udall the next time they take the court. The Devils will head out to face the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
