Ponderosa won the last time they faced Highlands Ranch and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-13, 25-11.

Kason LeVasseur paced Ponderosa's offense, picking up 13 kills. LeVasseur got some help from Wesley Bolline and his 17 assists. Finally, LeVasseur was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Ponderosa's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Highlands Ranch, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Ponderosa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Discovery Canyon on the 11th. As for Highlands Ranch, they will face off against Centaurus at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
