Volleyball Recap: Fort Lauderdale Has No Trouble Against Everglades

Fort Lauderdale won the last time they faced Everglades and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Fort Lauderdale Flying L's put the hurt on the Everglades Gators with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Fort Lauderdale won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.

The victory got Fort Lauderdale back to even at 1-1. As for Everglades, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Fort Lauderdale will face off against Flanagan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Everglades, they will challenge South Broward at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
