While Lompoc put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Cabrillo. The Braves skirted past the Conquistadores 1-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-3 victory on April 9th.

Not much got past Alex Brooks, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Cabrillo off the board.

On the hitting side, Lompoc saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabi Arias, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Lompoc and bumps their season record up to 14-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Cabrillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lompoc will welcome Mission College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cabrillo, they will face off against Righetti at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Conquistadores' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
