Baseball Recap: Dudley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dudley can now relate to. They came up short against the East Rowan Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Dudley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Jeffries, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Dudley and nudges their season record down to 14-12. As for East Rowan, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-5.

Dudley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Rowan, they will face off against Carson on Friday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
