Basketball Game Preview: Mount Tabor Spartans vs. Reagan Raiders

The Mount Tabor Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Reagan Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mount Tabor is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Glenn: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Mount Tabor blew Glenn out of the water with a 55-15 final score. The Spartans pushed the score to 48-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bobcats had no chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Reagan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They snuck past South Stokes with a 45-40 win on Wednesday.

Reagan has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Mount Tabor, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Mount Tabor couldn't quite finish off Reagan in their previous meeting back in January and fell 57-54. Can Mount Tabor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
