Basketball Recap: Baltic Comes Up Short

Baltic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 65-28 loss at the hands of the Lennox Orioles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Orioles are ranked 24th).

Baltic's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Lennox, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Baltic will be playing in front of their home fans against Elkton/Lake Benton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lennox, they will square off against Clark/Willow Lake at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
