Basketball Recap: Archbishop Spalding Takes a Loss

Archbishop Spalding entered their match against Glenelg Country on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Glenelg Country Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-56 back in December of 2024.

Archbishop Spalding suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 20-6. As for Glenelg Country, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
