Soccer Recap: Papillion-LaVista Comes Up Short

After flying high against Burke last Thursday, Papillion-LaVista came back down to earth. The Monarchs lost 5-0 to the Creighton Prep Junior Jays on Tuesday. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Papillion-LaVista it sure didn't stay that way.

Papillion-LaVista's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Creighton Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Papillion-LaVista will square off against rival Millard South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Creighton Prep is set to take on their familiar foe Omaha Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Creighton Prep their first taste of in-conference action this season.
