Football Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Comes Up Short

Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Polo Marcos 52-6. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 50-0 to the Marcos when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Landin Hudson threw for 50 yards and one touchdown. Adrian Losoya was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards and one score.

Ashton-Franklin Center's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Polo, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Ashton-Franklin Center will take on River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Polo, they will square off against Orangeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marcos will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
