Davison waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Goodrich Martians by a score of 2-0. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Martians, too.

Davison easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Addison Dunning paced Davison's offense, picking up six kills. Dunning got some help from Berklee Stimson and her seven assists. Dunning was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Davison's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Goodrich, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Davison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hartland on the 2nd. As for Goodrich, they will take on Corunna at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Martians their first taste of in-conference action this season.
