Basketball Recap: Lyman Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Lyman extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Owen Hansen. Everything went the Lyman Eagles' way against the Rawlins Outlaws on Friday as the Lyman Eagles made off with a 58-34 victory thanks in part to Hansen, who went 5 for 6 on her way to 16 points and three steals. Those 16 points gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Falyn Youngberg, who posted seven points and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Lyman's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Rawlins, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Lyman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-43 victory against Worland on the 11th. As for Rawlins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 82-29 defeat against Pinedale on the 11th.
