Baseball Game Preview: Victor Blue Devils vs. Hilton Cadets

Victor hasn't had much luck against Hilton recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Blue Devils will head out to take on the Cadets at 5:00 p.m. Victor's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Hilton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Saturday, Victor got the win against Webster Thomas by a conclusive 8-1.

Meanwhile, Hilton didn't have quite enough to beat Gates Chili on Friday and fell 2-1. The loss was the Cadets' first of the season.

Victor's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Hilton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Victor skirted past Hilton 13-12 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
