Basketball Recap: Dighton Comes Up Short

Dighton has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 69-43 to the Decatur Community Red Devils on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Dighton's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-3. As for Decatur Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dighton will square off against Ingalls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Decatur Community, they will challenge Greeley County on Friday.
