Soccer Recap: Providence Find Success

Providence kept a clean sheet against Woodland on Friday. They came out on top against the Woodland Wolverines by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Josiah Kovalcik and Larry Reinhard scored both of Providence's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Providence now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Woodland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Providence didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 victory against Batesburg-Leesville on the 4th. As for Woodland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-1 defeat against Camden on the 1st.
