Hooks is 6-1 against Linden-Kildare since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hornets will venture away from home to take on the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Hooks saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Como-Pickton, sneaking past 2-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Linden-Kildare duked it out with Maud on Tuesday. The Tigers won by a set and slipped past the Cardinals 3-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Linden-Kildare wouldn't go down easily and took Maud into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 16-25, 19-25, 25-13, 15-11.

Hooks might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Linden-Kildare in their previous matchup back in August of 2024. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
