It was a good run, but Wahpeton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Central Cass Squirrels by a score of 60-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Huskies have suffered since February 15, 2024.

Wahpeton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Central Cass, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Wahpeton will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Kindred at 6:00 p.m. Wahpeton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Kindred likes a good challenge. As for Central Cass, they are taking a road trip to square off against Thompson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
