Jackson Prep's defense stepped up to hand Jackson Academy a 1-0 shutout on Monday. Give the Patriots' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Jackson Prep is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine games. As for Presbyterian Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1.
