Football Recap: Reeths-Puffer Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Reeths-Puffer lost against Byron Center back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets were beaten by the Bulldogs 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 62nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Reeths-Puffer and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Byron Center, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Reeths-Puffer will take on rival Muskegon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Byron Center is set to face off against their familiar foe Forest Hills Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
