Basketball Recap: Rocksprings Skates Past Comstock with Ease

There's no place like home for Rocksprings, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They claimed a resounding 56-6 win over the Comstock Panthers. That 50 point margin sets a new team best for the Angoras this season.

Alektra Hernandez was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Katie Riojas, who had eight points.

Rocksprings' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Comstock, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Rocksprings will head out on the road to square off against Medina at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Comstock, they will welcome Leakey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
