The Gig Harbor Tides will take on the Timberline Blazers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timberline took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gig Harbor, who comes in off a win.

Gig Harbor is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 68-24 victory over Mount Tahoma. Given the Tides' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the T-Birds are ranked 333rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Timberline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-41 heartbreaker at the hands of Capital.

Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Gig Harbor, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.
