The Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 40-33 win over Glades Central. That's two games straight that Dr. Joaquin Garcia has won by exactly seven points.
Leading Dr. Joaquin Garcia to victory were Lauren Vance and Giah Davis. Vance scored ten points, while Davis scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season.
Dr. Joaquin Garcia's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8. As for Glades Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dr. Joaquin Garcia will stay at home for another game and welcome Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Glades Central will take on Clewiston at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clewiston's defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so Glades Central's offense will have their work cut out for them.
