Softball Recap: Bridgman Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Haven, Bridgman was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the River Valley Mustangs. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bridgman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for River Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coincidentally, Bridgman and River Valley will both be playing Marcellus the next time they take the field. The Bees will host the Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
