Edison is a perfect 3-0 against Western Reserve since May of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Chargers will host the Roughriders at 12:00 p.m. Edison will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Friday, Edison got the win against Port Clinton by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Chargers have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Western Reserve lost 9-1 to Margaretta on Thursday. The Roughriders have struggled against the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Edison's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Western Reserve, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Everything went Edison's way against Western Reserve in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Edison made off with an 8-0 win. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Roughriders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
