Basketball Recap: East Lyme Comes Up Short

East Lyme and Bunnell squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but East Lyme had to settle for second. They took a hard 67-49 fall against the Bunnell Bulldogs. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

East Lyme now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Bunnell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

East Lyme does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bunnell, they will take on Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
