Basketball Game Preview: Hanks Knights vs. Bel Air Highlanders

Hanks and Bel Air are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Hanks Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bel Air Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hanks is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Americas just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Trail Blazers, falling 53-32. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 473rd, while the Trail Blazers are ranked 79th).

Avah Diaz was Hanks' leading scorer, having posted eight points. Nevaeh Moore held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bel Air humbled Parkland with a 60-29 victory. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Bel Air has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Hanks, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11.
