Basketball Preview: Indian Creek Timberwolves vs. Oregon Hawks
The Indian Creek Timberwolves's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Oregon Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Illinois (Indian Creek is ranked 452nd, while the Hawks are ranked 444th).
Last Friday, Indian Creek came up short against the Norsemen and fell 45-36.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Everett Willis, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Isaac Willis, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Oregon suffered a rough 71-48 defeat at the hands of the Dukes & Duchesses on Saturday. Oregon has not had much luck with the Dukes & Duchesses recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Indian Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Oregon, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
Indian Creek might still be hurting after the 57-35 loss they got from the Hawks in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Indian Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
