Softball Recap: Boston Latin Academy Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Boston Latin Academy finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 12-1 to the Lynnfield Pioneers. The Dragons have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Boston Latin Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Andrade, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Boston Latin Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Lynnfield, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Boston Latin Academy will head out on the road to take on Marblehead at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lynnfield has already played their next contest (against Boston Latin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
