Basketball Recap: Richards Takes a Loss

Richards was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 50-8 loss at the hands of the Fayetteville Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-8 back in January.

Richards' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-13 record this season.

Richards will head out on the road to square off against Calvert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayetteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
