If John F. Kennedy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Marshall, they should've done a better job of containing Jason Vidaurri. The Rams took down the Rockets 61-47 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Vidaurri, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Marshall's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 68.3 points this season. As for John F. Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Looking ahead, Marshall will be taking part in a tournament against Klein Collins at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for John F. Kennedy, they will take on Fredericksburg in a tournament on Friday.
