Basketball Recap: Falcon Falcons vs. Sierra Stallions
It was a good run, but the Falcon Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 61-54 to Sierra. Falcon was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stallions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eric Graham, who scored 16 points along with two steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Jeramiah Potts, who scored 14 points.
Falcon's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4. As for Sierra, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
Falcon will take on the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Classical Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Sierra, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sand Creek has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
