Volleyball Recap: Tri-Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tri-Central extended their losing streak to 17 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-20. They lost 3-0 to the Carroll Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Carroll, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-16 record. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Carroll's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mady Isley, who had six kills and three aces. That's the most kills Isley has posted over her last five matchups. Another player making a difference was Kinleigh Randle, who had five aces.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Central will face off against Madison-Grant at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carroll, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Frontier at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
