Volleyball Recap: Anna Wins Going Away Against Sherman

Anna not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Sherman Bearcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Anna never let Sherman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 26-24, 25-20.

Anna's win bumped their record up to 20-22. As for Sherman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Anna will challenge rival Walnut Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sherman is set to face off against their familiar foe Denison at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
