Football Recap: Tarpon Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 41 points the game before, Tarpon Springs was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes 34-7. The Spongers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ben Sathaporn was nothing short of spectacular for Palm Harbor University: he rushed for 35 yards and three TDs. That's the most rushing yards Sathaporn has posted since back in September of 2024. Chris Estep was in the mix as well, providing Palm Harbor University with one score.

Tarpon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Palm Harbor University, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Tarpon Springs will head out to take on Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palm Harbor University, they will welcome Parrish Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
