Volleyball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Takes a Loss

St. Anne-Pacelli was the 3-1 winner over Lee-Scott Academy when they last played one another on September 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, St. Anne-Pacelli saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Allie Vickery had ten digs and two assists.

St. Anne-Pacelli has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-8 record this season. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they moved to 13-10 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

St. Anne-Pacelli didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Columbus on the 27th. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Northside Methodist Academy on the 27th.
