Dutch Fork has gone a perfect 8-0 against Chapin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Dutch Fork is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Oceanside Collegiate Academy, who was ranked ninth at the time (Dutch Fork was ranked second). The Silver Foxes fell 24-20 to the Landsharks last Friday. The loss was the Silver Foxes' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Dutch Fork got top-tier performance from Braydon Johnson, who picked up 73 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.

Meanwhile, Chapin was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Summerville, falling 50-14.

Chapin's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dutch Fork, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Dutch Fork against Chapin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 63-10 victory. In that contest, the Silver Foxes amassed a halftime lead of 56-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
