Wallace had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-19 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won four in a row.

Colt Franklin had an outrageously good game as he went 9-for-14 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kyle Melton, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 11 points and three steals.

Wallace smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wauneta-Palisade only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.

Wallace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-39 defeat against Maywood/Hayes Center on the 5th. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they have also already played their next game, a 53-29 loss against Creek Valley on the 5th.
