Football Recap: Fannindel Falcons vs. Trinidad Trojans
There's no place like home for Fannindel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Trinidad Trojans 55-34 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.
Daylon Powell had a dynamite game for Fannindel, rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Fannindel is undefeated when Powell posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-5 otherwise. Noah Butler made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Fannindel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 277 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2023.

Fannindel's record now sits at 3-5. As for Trinidad, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fannindel will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gold-Burg at 7:30 p.m. on October 31st. As for Trinidad, they will take on Bynum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Trinidad's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
