Severn Run waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Northeast Eagles 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Severn Run was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13, 25-10.

Savannah Smith paced Severn Run's offense, picking up seven kills. Smith got some help from Lily Doughty and her 13 assists. Cydney Wilkerson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Severn Run's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Severn Run will take on Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeast, they will challenge North County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
